University of Central Arkansas guard Lamar Grimes garnered his second honor of the week Tuesday when he was named to the All-Gulf South Conference second team.

Grimes was named to the GSC All-Tournament team on Sunday.

Grimes, a 6-foot point guard from Chicago, Ill., led the Bears through two victories in the GSC tournament an into the semifinals on Saturday. He averaged 16 points in UCA�s three games, including a 26-point outing in an upset of top-seeded Henderson State in the quarterfinals.

Grimes, who overcame a knee injury early in the season, averaged 14.1 points and 3.3 rebounds per game for the season. Grimes transferred to UCA from Indiana State.
