University of Central Arkansas senior Genai Walker was named to the All-Gulf South Conference West Division first team on Tuesday, while junior guard Carone Harris was named to the second team.

Walker, a 6-foot-2 center from England, led the GSC in rebounding at 11 rebounds per game and was UCA’s second- leading scorer at 13 points per outing. She was also first- team All-GSC last season.

Harris, a two-time GSC West Player of the Year, led the Sugar Bears in scoring at 14.2 points per game and was second in the league in steals, fourth in three-pointers made and sixth in assists.

UCA will play Fort Valley State in the NCAA South Regional at 2 p.m. (cst) Friday at Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla. It is the third consecutive trip to the regional tournament for the Sugar Bears.
